Reporting to our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing our corporate finance team which will involve oversight of sales and purchase ledger, payroll, VAT, cashflow and balance sheet maintenance.

In this position you will play a key role in the development and control of MAG’s systems, including our accounting software, PS Financials, and lead in the design and implementation of financial processes that will improve transparency and accountability across the organisation.

Your background in financial accounting will ensure that you can prepare statutory accounts for overseas programmes and Global Management Accounts when required. Your ability to analyse complex transactions, ensuring that foreign exchange movements are reflected will be crucial to your success.

With a genuine interest in the humanitarian sector, your strong communication skills will enable you to engage with and support other departments. You also should demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

With a proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team, prioritising its work and ensuring effective communication between various stakeholders, you will be creative, flexible, solution-focused, professional and committed to MAG's goals.
