Job Description

As a result, we are looking for a Communications and Change Manager to manage the establishment of a central Estates and Facilities Management service.This role will be responsible for developing and implementing the communication and engagement strategy for the Estates and Facilities Management business, ensuring it effectively reaches all levels of the team. You will report into the Managing Director of the Estates & Facilities Management business but have close links to the Divisional Internal Communications team and the overall transformation programme team. The ability to manage stakeholders at all levels will be essential.This is a hand on role and you will be expected to utilise all appropriate communications channels and change methods to deliver timely, high-impact communications to your stakeholders and beyond. The focus will be to ensure the smooth delivery of the communications and change plan. Your written skills will be particularly important, as will your ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

This is a 6 to 9 month contract. It will be mainly based in Hook, but there will be a requirement at times to travel out to contract sites across the UK.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivery of communications channels from newsletters to workshops - starting with pulling together the content to ensuring the timely delivery.

Manage stakeholders to ensure the timelines for communications plans are adhered to.

Ensure that all communications are on message and coordinated.

Facilitation and organisational of workshops and recognition events.

Writing communication materials for challenging situations and audiences.

Person Specification

Experience of change and communications for complex change programmes would be an advantage.

The employees within the Estates & Facilities Management team are a hard-to-reach group, with only a small percentage having online access; so previous experience of communicating with similar audiences would be highly beneficial.
